Usage Tracking

The Usage tab provides real-time visibility into how much of your plan’s allowance you have consumed.

Usage Alerts

When any metric reaches 80% capacity, a warning alert appears on the billing page. This gives you advance notice to upgrade before hitting a hard limit.

What Happens at the Limit

When you reach a plan limit:
Limit ReachedWhat Happens
Team MembersNew user invitations are blocked. Existing members are unaffected.
AssessmentsNew assessment creation is blocked. Existing assessments continue to work normally.
DOCX ExportsExport attempts return an error message. The counter resets at the start of the next billing period.
AI SummariesAI summary generation is blocked (except the first summary per file, which is always free). Resets monthly.
StorageFile uploads are blocked. Existing files are preserved. Delete files or upgrade to free up space.
Hitting a limit never affects access to existing data. You can always view, edit, and download everything you have already created. Only new resource creation is gated.

Storage Quotas

Each plan includes a storage allowance for uploaded evidence files.

Storage Limits by Plan

PlanStorage Limit
Free1 GB
Starter5 GB
Professional10 GB
Enterprise50 GB

File Upload Limit

The maximum file upload size is 25 MB per file across all plans.

Viewing Storage Usage

Your current storage consumption is visible in the billing dashboard:
  • Used — total size of all uploaded files (in GB)
  • Limit — your plan’s storage cap (in GB)
  • Available — remaining storage
  • Percentage — usage percentage with a progress bar

Storage Recalculation

Storage usage is tracked incrementally as files are uploaded and deleted. If you notice a discrepancy, the platform can recalculate storage from the file database to ensure accuracy.

FAQ

No. All existing data (assessments, files, comments, audit trail) is preserved when you downgrade. You may lose access to create new resources if you exceed the lower plan’s limits, but nothing is deleted.
Yes. Use the Stripe Customer Portal (Manage Subscription) to change your billing cycle. The change takes effect at the start of your next billing period.
Yes. Both counters reset to zero at the start of each billing period (monthly). There is no rollover of unused allowance.
Each AI-powered evidence analysis (Cortex AI validation) counts as one AI summary. The first summary per file is always free, even on the Free plan. Subsequent re-analyses of the same file count against your monthly limit.
The Free plan has no time limit — use it as long as you need. If you upgrade, Stripe may offer a trial period depending on the plan configuration.
